Wow! I thought I'd read a few pages of Caleb's Cross last night, but ended up not putting it down until I devoured the whole book! I thought I had the plot figured out, but boy was I wrong!
Urcelia Teixeira did a nice job of dealing with a sticky subject with grace and hope. I'm already looking forward to Angus' next adventure!
WOW......
What a great book.
Angus and his team are back in the depths of mystery, trying to sort out another whodunit.
This one pulled me in from the start and held me captivated till the end trying to work it all out before Angus did.
Have to admit, every time I thought I had it, another twist jumped out at me.
Can you solve the mystery before Angus?
Her best book to date I think. Couldn’t put it down. Catches you from page one. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I am an avid murder mystery reader. I started with Agatha Christie novels. Urcelia is at least on par with this famous lady. Her books are well written, her characters come alive on the pages and she builds the suspense so that it's almost impossible to put the book down. It's been a long time since I've read a novel this compelling. About her characters: they are individuals everyone can relate to as they struggle to solve modern day problems, horrible tragedies and moral temptations while grappling with their faith in Jesus and trusting our Father to carry them through. I've already bought as many books as I can. You will not regret starting with Little Boy Lost and the Angus Reid series.
I received it from my daughter on Mother’s Day, started reading it right away. I couldn’t put it down, but I had to go make dinner. Then we took a walk, came home and watched TV. I picked it up this morning with my cup of coffee.
Had breakfast and made his breakfast. Picked it up again, had lunch and then vacuumed. Picked it back up and finished it this afternoon. Loved the mystery, can’t wait to get the next book. I also appreciate the way she used Bible verses and scriptures in this mystery. Being a mother myself I really sympathize with MJ, but she really put her life in jeopardy for her son. I guess any mother would be so bold about helping out and not take no for an answer. I loved the book. Really can’t wait to read more of her books.
